Our system is created to automatically find Volunteers for people who need help during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The system has 2 registration forms:
A Volunteer registers in the system in the region of his choice (or defined automatically by the system), indicating his contact details, types of assistance he is ready to provide, city and postal code. The postal code is necessary in order to find those who are nearby (the postal code determines people within a radius of 5-10 km with certain accuracy).
A person who needs help also registers in the system, specifying contact information, city, postal code, and describing what kind of help he needs.
Then the system automatically searches for those who are nearby and ready to help and sends them invitations to help.
The next step is for one of the volunteers to agree to complete the task by clicking on a unique link from an email sent by our system, after that he is sent full contact details of the person who needs help and a reminder to contact him within 60 minutes. In turn, an email with the Volunteer's contact details is sent to the person who requested help.
After completing the task the Volunteer can click on the link from the last email and indicate that the task was completed successfully.
The person who requested help may also click on the link from his email and complete the task as well as give rating and feedback to the Volunteer.
In case of difficulties both the Volunteer (could not contact or no one accepted the job) and the person who requested help (no one called, contacted, but did not do the job) have opportunity to notify the system about the problems. Depending on the type of problem the task will be passed to other volunteers, or the system will notify moderators in the region about necessity to help.
